In order to be compliant with EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), it is possible to enable ‘Hard Deletes' in your satellites.  This option will enable the physical deletion of satellite records when data is deleted on the Source System.  

By default the option ‘Hard Delete’ is turned off, meaning that a deleted record in the source system will be just flagged as deleted in a Satellite Record (a Logical Delete) by turning the 'delete flag’ indicator on in the record (or in a new satellite record when using insert only logic).

Use the Action menu item ‘Edit’ to be able to change the flag for the object for which you want to Enable/Disable ‘Hard Deletes'.  If the option is turned ON, VaultSpeed will remove all satellite records for a certain key when that key is deleted in the source system.
